At their Dec. 23 meeting, Upper Saucon Township supervisors unanimously adopted a 2014 township budget without a tax increase.

The budget supervisors approved at the meeting was the same as the preliminary budget they approved earlier this month, township manager Tom Beil said.

That budget maintains real estate and fire hydrant taxes at their 2013 rates.

Board chairman Steve Wagner thanked the board's finance committee and township staff for their "many hours" of work on the budget.
