Update: Hearing Postponed for Kimberly Cardona's Accused Killer

The preliminary hearing was postponed for Jonathan Nunez of Allentown, accused of killing Kimberly Cardona of Whitehall and dumping her body in Salisbury.

The preliminary hearing for accused killer Jonathan Nunez of Allentown scheduled for Sept. 6 was postponed, according to Lehigh County Court officials. A new court date has not been set, officials said.

Nunez, 20, of 253 E. Fairview St., is charged with homicide for allegedly beating and stabbing to death Kimberly Cardona, 20, of Whitehall and dumping her body July 4 in Salisbury Township.

Her body was found July 5 by a man walking his dog. Nunez told police he had gotten into an argument with Cardona and cut her neck with a knife.
