Concert at Trevose Day School & Neshaminy Montessori with Children’s Entertainer Yosi a Huge Success

To celebrate the new school year as well as the cultural diversity of their students, Trevose Day School and Neshaminy Montessori welcomed children's recording artist Yosi for a music and fun-filled concert held on Friday, September 23, 2016.

Yosi performed songs based on the theme "Friends Around the World.” The concert offered an opportunity for students, teachers and families to celebrate the beginning of the school year. It also was a perfect way to bring the schools’ culturally diverse population of students together as a community to celebrate their different cultures through music.

Yosi has been performing professionally since the early 2000’s and he endeavors to bring a joyful experience to children everywhere through his music. He has won the 2004 and 2006 Children's Music Web Award, the 2004 National Parenting Seal of Approval and the 2009 NPR Best Music for Kids and their Families.

“Yosi’s concert was definitely a success,” said Gwynne Frischmann, Head of School at Trevose Day School and Neshaminy Montessori. “Everyone was enjoying themselves and Yosi really knew how to engage with our students in the audience.”
