By <a href="https://patch.com/users/jason-laday">JASON LADAY (Patch Staff)</a>:Rita's Italian Ice has entered into the convenience store market, <a href="http://www.bizjournals.com/philadelphia/morning_roundup/2015/07/ritas-breaks-into-convenience-stores.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">according to the Philadelphia Business Journal</a>.The Trevose-based company made the announcement that it has plans to break into the convenience and gas channel in the country with two area development agreements.The agreements were awarded to M&amp;M Arc Inc. for locations in the West, and to Ice &amp; Go for locations in the Midwest, South and Northeast – for a total of 60 locations by 2025.According to the report, the first location will open in Newbury Park, California, at the Chevron Extra Mile convenience store. Locations in the Midwest and East Coast are reportedly part of the company's 10-year plan.
