Council Rock South Plans Veterans Day Observance
The assembly is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Friday at the high school
UPPER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Council Rock South High School has planned a day to honor veterans for this Friday.
In advance of Veterans Day, the school will host a series of patriotic performances and presentations from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the school, at 2002 Rock Way in Holland. Here's the schedule for the assembly:
1:25-1:30 p.m. – Choir sings/band plays National Anthem, salute the flag.
1:30-1:35 p.m. - School principal welcome
1:35-1:40 p.m. - Opening, addressing the importance of Veterans Day in our school community
1:40-1:45 p.m. - The importance of learning about veterans’ sacrifices.
1:45-1:50 p.m. - Presentation of "certificates of participation" to guest veterans
1:50-2:00 p.m. – Band will play a medley for each branch of the military
