Bucks and Montgomery Counties are home to several of the state’s - and the country’s - top high schools, according to a new study.
New Hope-Solebury High School was ranked 2nd in Pennsylvania and 210th in the nation in a new list released by U.S. News and World Report.
The annual rankings analyze four key metrics for each school: student-to-teacher ratio, average student proficiency in mathematics, average student proficiency in literature, and college readiness score.

The readiness score judges a school’s AP exams and results. This scale was a boost for many of the local institutions that made the list.
