Donation Jar Stolen In Upper Southampton: VIDEO

The jar, at a local pizza restaurant, was intended to collect donations for autism awareness, according to police.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Police are searching for a woman they say stole a donation jar meant for charity from a restaurant in Upper Southampton.

At about 11:44 p.m. on Friday, someone took the jar — meant to collect donations for autism awareness — from the front counter at Longhitano's Pizza, at 751 Street Rd. Police were called the next morning to investigate.

Surveillance video shared by Upper Southampton Township Police show what appears to be a woman wearing sunglasses and a scarf enter the restaurant, look around, then take the donation jar. She appears to be between 30-40 years old, according to police.
