Driver Arrested In Upper Southampton Hit-And-Run

Township police say a Mercury sedan was parked alongside Bristol Road when it was hit last Sunday.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — The driver of a BMW has been charged in an apparent hit-and-run after police say he slammed into a parked vehicle alongside Bristol Road in Upper Southampton.

Ruslan Zdorovega, of Philadelphia, is charged with damage to unattended vehicles and careless driving. His car, which Upper Southampton Township Police said appeared to be a BMW X5 SUV, was located in northeast Philadelphia, police said Wednesday.

On Sunday, Oct. 21, police say a Mercury sedan was parked alongside the road when it was hit. Photos of the crash show the Mercury was pushed up onto grass alongside the road and that it's rear end was severely busted up in the crash.

On Wednesday, police thanked the owners of the car that was hit as well as members of the public for information that helped them locate Zdorovega.
