Drug Take Back Day Is Oct. 26 In Southampton
The national event lets people dispose of unneeded or out-of-date medications, which police say can be abused.
SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Upper Southampton Police will be joining departments across the nation on Saturday, Oct. 26, for Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The event in Southampton will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
The nationwide event aims to provide a safe and convenient way to dispose of unneeded or out-of-date medications, while educating the public about the potential for abuse of these medications.

In Southampton, there will be three locations where you can drop off unwanted drugs:
- Upper Southampton Police Department, 939 Street Rd.
- Southampton Estates, 238 Street Rd.
- Rite Aid Pharmacy, 1035 County Line Rd.
