It's Free Slurpee Day: Get One In Southampton

It's free Slurpee day at 7‑Eleven.

The convenience store will celebrate its birthday by giving away a free small Slurpee drink to each customer on Wednesday, July 11. About nine million free small Slurpee drinks will be given away from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., 7-Eleven says.

"Free Slurpee day may be the most anticipated day of the year for millions of 7‑Eleven customers and new customers alike," Raj Kapoor, 7‑Eleven senior vice president for fresh food and proprietary beverages, said in a press release. "7‑Eleven Day is a celebration, not only of our birthday, but more importantly, of our customers. I encourage everyone to look around the store, grab an old favorite like a Big Bite hot dog to enjoy with their free Slurpee drink or maybe try something they haven't. We have lots of delicious new choices in stores."

No coupon is necessary for the freebie, but you might have to wait in line.

The featured Slurpee flavor is Cap'n Crunch's Crunch Berries, which has been recreated after the cereal.

There are 7-Eleven stores on Maple Avenue and Street Road in Southampton.
