Klinger Middle School Principal Travis Bloom will be leaving the district for a position at nearby Pennsbury.

Klinger Middle School Principal Travis Bloom will be leaving the district for a position at nearby Pennsbury.
Bloom was appointed to be the next principal of Charles Boehm Middle School during a meeting Thursday. He will replace outgoing principal Theresa Ricci, who was recently promoted to be the Pennsbury's director of secondary education.
Bloom has served as the Principal of Klinger Middle School since 2014.

Pennsbury, in an announcement, said Bloom completed several rounds of interviews with stakeholders such as school directors, administrators, faculty members, and parents, the district said.
“Interview committee members were excited to learn of his experience at the middle school level, his ability to build relationships with all students and staff, his appreciation for Charles Boehm’s history of success, and his genuine collaborative spirit," Pennsbury Superintendent Dr. William Gretzula said.
