Man Arrested For Southampton Home-Improvement Scam
The victim said the 42-year-old man from Philadelphia took money for "substandard and incomplete work."

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — A man from Philadelphia has been arrested in Upper Southampton on charges that he was running a home-improvement scam there.
Patrick William Zolk, 42, is charged with home improvement fraud, theft by deception and receiving stolen property, police said Thursday.
Upper Southampton Township Police officers were called on March 20 to an address on Rosebud Road for a report of contractor fraud. The victim told police that Zolk had "committed deceptive business practices" and had taken advance payments for "substandard and incomplete work."

Last Thursday, Zolk surrendered to detectives and was charged, police said. According to court documents, he was released after posting on a $10,000 unsecured bail.
