Man, 28, Killed In Street Road Crash
The man from Northampton appeared to be speeding on Street Road near Davisville Church when his car flew off the road, witnesses said.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — A Northampton man was killed in the early-morning hours Sunday when his car flew off the road and struck a telephone pole, according to police.
Police say Michael Franzen, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened at about 1:34 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Street Road, near Davisville Church in Upper Southampton.
Officers arrived at the scene to find Franzen's car had struck a telephone pole on the church's property line, according to the Upper Southampton Police Department. He was not breathing and did not have a pulse, police said.

Police and members of the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad attempted to revive Franzen, but were unsuccessful.
Witnesses told investigators that Franzen's car was seen speeding eastbound on Street Road when it veered left, crossed over all eastbound and westbound lanes, left the roadway and hit the telephone pole.
