Two-Day Bucks County Wine Trail Tour to Be Held in May

During the self-guided tour, each of the nine Bucks County wineries will pair wine with complementary food.

The Bucks County Wine Trail will host its Spring Tour this May, with two dates selected for self-guided tours.

During the tour, each of the nine Bucks County wineries will pair wine with complementary food. The Northern Tour is May 17; a Southern Tour is May 24.

The Northern Tour features the New Hope Winery, Peace Valley Winery, Sand Castle Winery and Unami Ridge Winery.

The Southern Tour features Buckingham Valley Vineyards, Crossing Vineyards and Winery, Rose Bank Winery, Rushland Ridge Vineyards and Wycombe Vineyards.

Tickets are limited to 300 for each tour, according to Bucks County Wine Trail President Richard Fraser. “Every winery does something different and they’re all paired with a food vendor,” Fraser said. “People get a sampling of some really high-end food and very good wine.”

The annual spring tour was separated to two events in 2011, because organizers said it was difficult for guests to visit nine wineries in one day.

Tickets for the Spring Tour can be purchased at any of the wineries in Bucks County.

The cost to attend the Northern Tour is $30. The Southern Tour is $35. Tickets for both tours are $50.
