On New Year's Eve, police officers from five Bucks County departments will conduct roving DUI patrols.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — On New Year's Eve, police from Upper Southampton will be among officers from five Bucks County departments conducting roving DUI patrols as the clock strikes midnight and beyond.
Officers from Plumstead, Upper Southampton, Warrington, Middletown and Richland will hit the streets at 10 p.m. Monday and patrol for drunk drivers until 3 a.m. on New Year's Day, the Bucks County District Attorney's office announced.
"Please celebrate the New Year safely with friends and family. Don't drink or do drugs and drive," said Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub. "Police departments all over the county are on high alert for DUIs tonight. If you drive hammered, you'll get nailed."
