Woman, 65, Killed In Upper Southampton Crash
The woman's Nissan slammed into the side of a children's academy after striking a utility pole, police said.

UPPER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — A 65-year-old Southampton woman was killed Tuesday after she suffered a "severe medical condition" and crashed her car into the side of a pre-school on Street Road, police say.
Upper Southampton Police officers were called at 8:54 a.m. Tuesday to First Children's Academy, at 520 Street Rd., to reports of a vehicle crashing into the side of the building. When they got there, they found a black Nissan Altima, in which the woman was the lone occupant, with severe front-end damage.
Police on Friday were not identifying the woman. She was unresponsive when officers arrived and they began performing live-saving efforts as members of the Tri-Hampton Rescue Squad and Southampton Fire Company began arriving.

She was taken to Abington Hospita, where she was later pronounced dead.
Investigators say the woman had recently left her home and was driving east on Street Road when she had "a sudden, severe medical condition" which caused her to lose control of her car. She left the road, striking a utility pole, crossing the front circle of the children's academy then stopping after hitting the building.
