Woman Inappropriately Approached Kids At Bus Stop: USPD
The Centennial School District is working with Upper Southampton Police to investigate the incident, which happened Wednesday.
UPPER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Police in Upper Southampton are investigating reports that a woman in a minivan inappropriately approached children who were waiting at a school bus stop on Wednesday.
According to police, the incident happened at about 8:25 a.m.
They say the middle-age woman, whom they described as "suspicious," drove up in a minivan and told several children, "The bus has already come and you missed the bus." She then drove away and didn't engage the children in any more conversation, police said.

On Thursday, police said preliminary reports are that "there was no luring threat or danger whatsoever to the juveniles." As normal practice, the department said, it will have officers patrolling township bus stops to help ensure children's safety.
"USPD appreciates our community's involvement in being the extra 'eyes and ears,' but we would ask if you do observe an incident such as this, please call 911 immediately so that a police response and investigation is not delayed," police said in a social media post.
