The Wilkes-Barre Family YMCA and the Greater Pittston YMCA were each awarded $30,000 from the AllOne Foundation as part of a regional grant supporting programming that serves individuals with physical and developmental disabilities at YMCAs across the Northeastern Pennsylvania region.

At both the Wilkes-Barre and Pittston YMCAs, the grant supports the A-Team, a program that serves individuals from childhood through adulthood with varying physical and/or developmental disabilities. The A-Team's primary goal is to improve participants’ overall health – physically, mentally and socially within each community.
