Obituary: Rosalyn P. Kopcho of Wilkes-Barre

WILKES-BARRE, PA — Rosalyn P. Kopcho, of Wilkes-Barre, died Saturday at the age of 89.

She had been living at Timber Ridge Heath Care Center for the past eight years.

Kopcho was the daughter of the late John and Pauline Bogusky Woyton. She was a graduate of GAR Memorial High School and worked in area factories before getting married.

Kopcho was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in North Wilkes-Barre.

She was survived by her husband Andrew Kopcho Jr., daughter Judith Kopcho, son Andrew "Buddy" Kopcho, a grandson, a great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 South Main St., Plains. Masks will be required at the funeral home and church.

Office of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, 95 North Main St. in Wilke-Barre. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
