The City of Wilkes-Barre has announced the 2021 Property Tax Schedule, as shown below:

1st installment due; Last day to pay the City Property taxes in the 1% discount amount

3/4/21 to 5/4/21 Face amount due

3rd installment due; Last day to pay the City Property taxes in the Face Amount

5/6/21

City Property Taxes now due in the 15% Penalty Amount

Last day to pay 2021 City Property Taxes

Anyone who has not received their tax bill by February 7th should call the Tax Office at 570.208.4192 or 570.208.4175.

Taxes are payable by Cash, Check, and/or Money Order and should be made payable to the City of Wilkes-Barre. The Tax Office is located on the first floor of City Hall, 40 East Market Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711. The Tax Office is open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.

Taxpayers can also mail their tax payments and installment payment coupons to Wilkes-Barre City Tax Office, 40 East Market Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18711. Checks or money orders are made payable to the City of Wilkes-Barre. Cash will not be accepted through mail or drop-off. Taxpayers requesting a receipt should include a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Postmark date will be accepted as the payment date. Additionally, a secure payment drop-off box is located outside of City Hall at the North Washington Street entrance.
