On Friday, January 15th, Mayor George C. Brown, Police Chief Joe Coffay and Fire Chief Jay Delaney accepted donations of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other supplies from Ocean State Job Lot, located at 620 Kidder Street in Wilkes-Barre. The donations included KN95 masks, face shields, hand sanitizer, and disinfecting hand wipes.
Ocean State Job Lot is donating $6,000 in PPE to the Fire Department and $6,000 in PPE to the Police Department, totaling $12,000 to the City’s first responders.

This is the third donation made by Ocean State Job Lot to the City of Wilkes-Barre. Mayor Brown and the Chiefs thank them for their very generous donation and continued support of the City’s emergency response personnel. The Mayor thanks Ocean State Job Lot Principal Owner and CEO Marc Perlman.
