Gov. Raimondo Orders All Flags At Half-staff For September 11
Raimondo also asked Rhode Islanders to lower their flags to half-staff as a sign of respect.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Governor Gina M. Raimondo ordered Tuesday that all U.S. and Rhode Island flags at all state buildings be flown at half-staff in honor of the lives lost during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
"Today we remember the innocent Americans who were killed on September 11 and the brave first responders who put their own lives on the line to save others," said Raimondo. "In the face of horrific tragedy, our nation came together and proved that power of our spirit."
Raimondo also asked Rhode Islanders to lower their flags to half-staff as a sign of respect.
