RI Primary Voter Turnout Off To Slow Start In Some Cities

As of noon, Cumberland, Pawtucket, and Woonsocket are all seeing low turnouts.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Although some voting locations have had steady voter turnout, some Northern Rhode Island cities so far are seeing near record low voter turnout according to Go Local Prov.

Some locations like Providence’s Nathan Bishop Middle School are having decent turnout despite opening 20 minutes late. Other nearby poll locations like Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary have been empty for most of the morning.

As of noon, Cumberland, Pawtucket, and Woonsocket are also all seeing low turnouts.
