Barrington Community Flu Clinic On Saturday
A community flu clinic will take place in Barrington at the Barrington Public Library.
BARRINGTON, RI — A community flu clinic will be held at the Barrington Public Library on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The clinic is available to those ages 3 and up with no pre-registration necessary.
Those who have insurance are asked to bring their insurance cards. There will be no out-of-pocket money collected from anyone. It is advised that everyone 6 months are older get vaccinated for the flu annually.
While the flu vaccine will not protect you against the coronavirus, having fewer people in need of urgent care or emergency medical services for influenza could dramatically help healthcare workers tend to those in need if there is a significant outbreak of coronavirus in the state. Flu season runs from October through April. It is not too late to get a flu vaccination.
