Barrington Coronavirus Testing Site Will Stay Open 2 More Weeks
The pop-up asymptomatic testing site in the Barrington Shopping Center will now be offering tests through Feb. 6.

BARRINGTON, RI — A pop-up asymptomatic COVID-19 testing site in Barrington will stay open for an additional two weeks, said Town Manager James Cunha in his weekly update Friday.
The rapid testing site, located at the former Joseph A. Bank storefront in the Barrington Shopping Center, opened on Jan. 12 and was scheduled to remain open until Jan. 23. However, the site will now be offering tests through Feb. 6.
The Barrington rapid testing site is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is being supported by Joe Paolino and Paolino Properties, the RI Department of Health, and the RI National Guard.

No appointment is necessary to get tested. However, the Barrington site is for asymptomatic patients only. Anyone experiencing symptoms should make an appointment through the Rhode Island Department of Health.
