Barrington Girls Capture Division I Basketball Crown
The Eagles defeated LaSalle 39-36 to win the Division I state championships.
BARRINGTON, RI — It came down to Barrington and LaSalle in the Division I state championships on Saturday. The Eagles prevailed by 39-36.
Three of their players scored in double figures, according to the Rhode Island Interscholastic League. Glory Elllison came up with 13 points; Olivia Middleton contributed 11, and Andrea Kubas-Meyer scored 10.
