Barrington Little League Falls To New Jersey 2-0

The boys ended their Little League World Series after losing against New Jersey.

BARRINGTON, RI — Following an impressive six-to-one win over Kentucky on Saturday, Barrington Little League's World Series run is over. On Tuesday, the team fell to New Jersey, ending their chances at taking home the top prize.

The final score in the 3 p.m. game was two points to none. New Jersey will now go on to play against Louisiana on Wednesday morning.

Manager Chris Promades called the team of 13 boys "a bunch of scrappers" who have "been battling all season long."

"We want everyone to know how grateful we are to have the opportunity to play," Promade told Patch as the team prepared to head into the New England Championships.
