Barrington Outdoor Financial Town Meeting Guidelines

BARRINGTON, RI — The Barrington Town Manager's office has released logistics details for the outdoor July 18 financial town meeting on the Barrington High field.

Registration for the meeting is 8 a.m. with the meeting scheduled to start at 9 a.m. Makeup rain dates are July 19 or July 25.

Those attending are required to bring their license, pen, lawn chair, sunscreen, water and hat. Those from different households are required to sit at least 10 feet apart.

Seating will take place in the grandstand and on the athletic field. A robust speaker system will be used and the town meeting will be simulcast on smart devices.

The meeting will be played on the radio for those who wish to remain in their vehicles, but residents will have to leave vehicles to vote.

The Eagle's Nest will be open for refreshments and bathrooms will be open, with frequent sanitizing.
