Barrington Public Library To Delay Opening May 24

The library will open at 1 p.m. this Monday due to an all-staff meeting.

BARRINGTON, RI — The Barrington Public Library announced Thursday that it will delay opening Monday, May 24 due to an all-staff meeting.

The library, located at 281 County Road, will open four hours later than usual at 1 p.m and remain open until 8 p.m. with no interruptions in scheduled activities.

Due to COVID-19, the library is still taking extra measures to keep visitors safe, including an enhanced cleaning schedule and the closure of certain meeting and study spaces. The date of the building's complete reopening has not been released.
