Barrington Recreation Department Summer Programs To Begin June 28
The department is offering four different programs for kids ages 5 to 18.
BARRINGTON, RI — The Town of Barrington Recreation Department is launching its 2021 summer camps for children and teens ages 5 to 18 on Monday, June 28.
The department is offering four different age-appropriate programs, including Cook Kids Camp for ages 5 to 7, Camp Endeavor for ages 8 to 12, Youth Tennis Camp for ages 5 to 18, and Summer B.E.S.T. Theatre Camp for ages 8 to 18.
Multiple sessions are available for each program and camps will run through mid-August. Due to COVID-19, the following safety protocols will be in place:

- All camps will be primarily outdoors
- There will be daily health screenings and temperature checks
- All drop off and pick up will be outside
- Visitors will not be permitted in the camp
- The sharing of toys and supplies will be limited
- Cleaning and disinfecting will take place regularly
- Non-essential visitors will be limited
- Parents must be able to pick up their children immediately if they are showing symptoms or are ill
