Barrington Beach Restricted To Residents Only Due To Coronavirus
Town directive is effective immediately to help combat overcrowding.

BARRINGTON, RI — Barrington Town Beach will be restricted to town residents effective immediately due to the coronavirus health crisis.
The town announced, as part of its extension of a state of emergency declaration that also reflects the state's social gathering limit reduction from 25 to 15, that only Barrington residents will be allowed at the beach.
Beach hours will be extended to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to also help prevent overcrowding, with residents required to buy a daily pass for $5, or a season pass, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
