BARRINGTON, RI —Barrington residents who have requested a mail-in ballot for Tuesday's presidential primary election are advised to mail them back as soon as possible so that they can be counted in the results.

It is the responsibility of the voter to make sure the ballot is received by the Board of Elections in Cranston by 8 p.m. on Tuesday night. Ballots can also be dropped off at the Board of Elections at 2000 Plainfield Pike in Cranston.

Those who did not request a ballot can vote in person at Barrington High School from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, as well as through in-person emergency voting at Barrington Town Hall through June 1. Emergency voting can be done by appointment on Monday until 4 p.m.
