An art lover, she said “to be able to own a Peter Max original is unbelievable.”

The painting is one of six Peter Max pieces given out by the casino as part of the Summer of Dreams promotion. Bowman’s depicts Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra when the two sang together on Sinatra’s show in 1960.

The works are part of a series of Sinatra to commemorate his 100th birthday.

It turns out that Max was good friends with Sinatra and didn’t recognize the acclaimed singer at their first encounter.

Max told the Observer earlier this year that he was at the Met one day and a man approached him and said he was his biggest fan. Max didn’t realize the man was Sinatra until a passer-by asked Ol’ Blue Eyes for his signature.
