Coronavirus: Barrington Reports 6 Positive Tests In Town
The number of positives was part of the town manager's daily report to residents Sunday night.
BARRINGTON, RI — Barrington reported six confirmed cases of the new coronavirus as part of its report to residents Sunday. The Barrington town manager has been issuing a daily report to keep residents updated on the latest state and local orders, as well as foodoptions and support services.
Compliance with the state's Stay-at-Home order includes social distancing of at least six feet between individuals and a maximum number of five people together at any time. Those who witness people in violation of executive orders can contact Barrington Public Safety at 401-437-3935.
Town hall and the department of public works is open appointment only. The public safety building is open in the lobby only. Non-critical retails stores, recreation and entertainment venues are closed. Playgrounds, basketball courts and picke-ball courts are closed. Town bike paths, sidewalks and beaches are open for walking with social distancing required.

All April and May expirations of licenses, registrations and inspections are forgiven for 90 days. Daycare facilities are closed as of Monday.
