Coronavirus: Barrington To Require Face Masks In Public Buildings
Starting Wednesday, Barrington is requiring face cloth coverings be worn in government and commercial buildings, including grocery stores.
BARRINGTON, RI — Barrington is requiring all employees and customers to wear face cloth coverings in government and commercial buildings starting on Wednesday. The town manager's office announced that this directive applies to government building employees and both employees and customers at grocery stories, pharmacies and other essential stores that remain open during the state's stay-at-home order.
Masks should cover a person's nose and mouths and must be worn by those working and visiting buildings at all times. At this time, the masks do not need to be medical-grade masks or N95 respirators, but at a minimum fabric or cloth coverings, such as cloths and bandanas. Masks are not required in vehicles and private residences.
