Coronavirus: RI Women's Resource Center Responding Remotely

Despite closing its offices, the Women's Resource Center is still available to RI women experiencing abuse during the coronavirus crisis.

BARRINGTON, RI — While the Women's Resource Center of Rhode Island has closed its office doors due to the coronavirus health crisis, staff remains available to help anyone suffering domestic violence in Barrington, Middletown and surrounding communities. Staff will use phone, text, email and video methods to meet clients' needs.

The Women's Resource Center said it will reach out to those affected and determine the most appropriate form of communication.

Those who are unable to talk on the phone are urged to email info@wrcnbc.org. The statewide hotline is 1-800-494-8100. Those who feel threatened are reminded to always call 911 in an emergency.
