Looking for a grassroots local music fest? You don’t have to go far, as Local Brew Events’ 4th annual Fiddle n Folk Fest is in Barrington’s Haines Park on Saturday, September 13 from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm (raindate is September 14).

Last year’s event drew hundreds of foot-tapping, hand-clapping, dancing music lovers from throughout southern New England. Bring your family and see old friends, meet new ones, hear steadfast band favorites, and listen in awe to some newcomers.

This year promises a great variety of music including traditional, swamp fiddle, bluegrass, celtic, cajun, and twin fiddles. Performers include Pendragon, Bluegrass Invitation Band, Magnolia, Andy Grover, Golden Bantams, Shamanic, John Fuzek, Mr. Whodo, Barry Brown, Sunday Night Jammers, Bay Spring Folk, and of course, Old Fiddlers Club of Rhode Island.
