Election 2018: How Barrington Voted

BARRINGTON, RI--Barrington voted with the rest of the state to re-elect the governor and the top Democrats and to pass the statewide ballot questions. Gina Raimondo, the incumbent Democrat, captured 65 percent of the vote, according to the state Board of Elections' unofficial tally.

In the town council race, Jacob N. Brier and Michael W. Carroll were the top vote-getters with 4,444 and 4,391 votes, respectively. Stephen B. Primiano came in third with 3,982. The top two are elected.

For school committee, voters gave Gina J. Bae 5,466 votes. Erika L. Sevetson was second with 3,849, and Patrick John McCrann came in third with 3,816. The top three are elected. John D. Alessandro, Jr. was next with 3,466.

In addition to the three statewide ballot questions, all the local ballot questions also passed. Here are the unofficial numbers from the state elections board.
