RI Power Outages: Few Households In The Dark By 8 P.M.

The biggest hit came during the afternoon in Tiverton where 56 households lost electricity. They were all back by Monday night.

TIVERTON, RI — Some 50 Rhode Island households were without electricity for much of the afternoon, National Grid said Tuesday afternoon. Tiverton was reporting 56, and 32 were out in Barrington. In Glocester, at one point, 40 households lost electricity. West Warwick also had 18, and Providence reported fewer than five. By 8 p.m., all service was restored except for a few customers in Hopkinton. National Grid said fewer than five households were impacted.
