Rumford Pet Express Opens New Store In Barrington

BARRINGTON, RI — Rumford Pet Express officially opened a new store in Barrington over the weekend, reported NBC 10 News.

The opening was celebrated with a special pet adoption day Saturday featuring dogs bought as puppies during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the company, many pandemic dogs are in need of a new home as their owners go back to work and can no longer give them proper care.

Those who are keeping the dogs they adopted during the pandemic were invited to a training to help pets who will be left alone more often.
