CodeRed alerts notify residents of critical information and emergency situations.
BARRINGTON, RI — Barrington residents are asked to sign up for emergency alerts from the town.
The alert system is operated by CodeRED and informs residents of critical notifications and emergency notifications.
Notifications include missing persons, evacuation notices, natural disasters, boil water advisories, inclement weather warnings, criminal activities, traffic alerts and shelter-in-place directives.
