Snow Causes Delays, Cancellations In Barrington
Schools went from two-hour delayed to closed Tuesday morning; Barrington Town Hall opening delayed.
BARRINGTON, RI — Changing forecasts and deteriorating road conditions kept Barrington officials on their toes early Tuesday morning. An announcement that Barrington schools would be delayed two hours that came out before dawn was updated about 6 a.m. that schools are closed for the day.
The opening of Barrington Town Hall was also delayed for two hours as Rhode Island deals with an expected one to three inches of snow, mixing with ice and rain at times, throughout Tuesday.
