Strong Winds Could Cause Power Outages Tuesday, Wednesday

Strong winds could cause power outages across the state Tuesday and Wednesday.

Wind gusts will reach 55 mph, according to the National Weather Service, which issued a wind advisory through Wednesday at 5 p.m.

There were several reports of trees down across the state Tuesday afternoon.

• WINDS...NORTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 55 MPH.
• TIMING...DURING THE DAY WEDNESDAY.
• IMPACTS...NORTHWEST WIND GUSTS WILL BRING DOWN SOME LARGE TREE LIMBS AND PERHAPS EVEN A FEW TREES...POSSIBLY CAUSING ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES.
