Tentative Date Set for Old Grist Mill Tavern's Reopening
The restaurant was destroyed by a fire in 2012.

The Old Grist Mill Tavern is targeted to open on Nov. 6, reported NBC 10 News.
The Seekonk restaurant and area favorite was destroyed by a fire in June 2012. After two years or work and reconstruction, the eatery is almost open again.
The Nov. 6 date is tentative if the owners can acquire the necessary permits.

The project has cost $3.5 million.
The property has been a historic part of the Seekonk community since the 1700s and the location was used to grind grain for the local farmers until the 1920s and was then transformed into a tavern in the 1930s.

NBC 10 News reported that there will be tickets for the grand opening and seating will be limited to 200 people.
