After Recount, George Nardone Is Still The District 28 Winner
The state recounted votes in six races and rejected the requests to recount eight others. The review did not change election night results.

COVENTRY, RI — The state Board of Elections has completed recounts for the Nov. 6 election, according to Miguel Nunez. None of the winners and losers changed as a result of the review.
The state had received 14 recount requests but opted to conduct recounts in only six contests: the Coventry Town Council race, the North Kingstown Town Council race, the Smithfield Town Council race, the Scituate School Committee race and the races for District 28 and District 30 seats in the state House of Representatives.
In the Town Council District 4 race, Gary P. Cote's margin of victory increased by one vote over April Campopiano. He had 1,175 votes after the recount, exactly the same number he collected on election night. She ended up with 1,166, one less than she'd been credited with on election night.
