BJ's Wholesale Offers $500 Bonuses To 80 New Hires In RI
Applicants can stop by the BJ's in Coventry on Saturday during the company's hiring day.
COVENTRY, RI — A hiring event in Coventry and across Rhode Island is looking to match 80 new employees with positions that come complete with a $500 sign-on bonus.
This Saturday, RJ's Wholesale Club will host a hiring event at its stores in Coventry, Johnston and Middletown from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
To be interviewed for a position, would-be workers need to show up at one of the three stores during the event and check in at an outdoor tent, BJ's said in a news release. If the events become crowded, attendees will receive a text message when an interviewer becomes available.

Current employees who recommend a new hire will receive a $500 referral bonus 90 days after the new worker is hired, the company said. New hires will also receive a $500 sign-on bonus.
The company is looking to hire people to fill several roles including supervisors, leads, managers, cashiers, stock and recovery clerks, forklift drivers and more. The full list of jobs is available online.
