Carbon Monoxide Leak Sends Six To Hospitals: Coventry Police
Crews responded to a home on Sisson Road where "dangerously high carbon monoxide levels" were found.

COVENTRY, RI — Six people went to the hospital early Tuesday after high levels of carbon monoxide were detected inside their house. According to police, Western Coventry fire crews went to 20 Sisson Road at 1 a.m. to investigate a possible leak. They vented the house and took four adults to Kent Hospital and two children to Hasbro for carbon monoxide poisoning treatment. All the patients are expected to recover, police said. The cause of the leak was an improperly vented water heater.
