Coventry Home Invasion: Three Charged

Police said jewelry, prescription medicine and a laptop computer were stolen after a housebreak at 30 Parker St.

COVENTRY, RI—Three people have been arrested after a 4:30 a.m. home invasion. Police said the 911 call came early Thursday morning from a woman at 30 Parker St. She told police she was awakened by noises in her home and then realized a strange man was in the house. He allegedly pushed her out of his way and ran.

Police found a broken first-floor window, which was likely the way the robber or robbers entered. They also found blood around the window. In front of the house, they also found an abandoned car which they suspected was involved in the home invasion.

The woman was not hurt, police said. She told them prescription medicine, a laptop and jewelry were missing.
