Coventry Man, 30, Charged With First-Degree Sexual Assault
The man was indicted on one count of first-degree sexual assault by the Statewide Grand Jury.
COVENTRY, RI — The Rhode Island Statewide Grand Jury indicted a Coventry man on one count of first-degree sexual assault.
Donald Sheldon, 30, is accused of assaulting the victim in Coventry last August. The incident was investigated by the Coventry Police Department, the attorney general's office said.
Sheldon is scheduled to be arraigned in Kent County Superior Court on June 18.
