COVENTRY, RI — Coventry parents can send their children to camp this summer for little cost, thanks to a grant from the federal government. To qualify, registration must be submitted by Friday.

The town's Parks and Recreation Department, which sponsors the six-week program, announced that parents can apply for up to $400 in financial aid, per child, thanks to a COVID-19 relief grant received by the school department. The reimbursement is not available to non-residents or anyone who already received assistance from Coventry Human Services.
